10 Minute Standing Stretch Routine // Stretching Exercises for Seniors & Beginners
This quick stretch workout will leave you feeling amazing! You will relieve tension, increase your flexibility and improve your mobility with with 10 min (ok, almost 13 min) workout!
This is great to do anytime on its own or after any workout to reduce muscle soreness and feel rejuvenated.

    What I like is that there are so many for me to choose from Today I felt lazy so I chose this slow one and I loved it I do your 10 min balance exercises and I have seen an improvement Though I have not done any abb exercises they feel stronger And I just feel better,walk more upright and feel stronger ..Your exercises are the best !❤

    HI, I love your workouts as you know, and you have been so kind to me by replying to my questions. Well, I finally had an MRI and I have a lot of issues with my foot, ankle, fibula/peroneal nerves. I am doing nerve gliding exercises and I feel they are helping. But, can you please recommend which one of your workouts would be good for lower body workout I can do, and I don't know if it is good to do every morning (I am retired) or do a workout splitting up lower 3x wk, upper 3x wk? I am getting LMT and Chrio help as well. Oh, quick update, once I get better, I have permission to do your workouts at our new gym. Thank you for allowing me to do so, and I will print a document with your website and You Tube channel info. Thank you once again!

      Sorry to hear about your foot issues Cynthia. I'm not sure what to recommend, because I don't know what you have been told not to do. Are you supposed to avoid certain exercises? Do you need to be off it all together? If you can please give me a little more Information so I can make some video recommendations. Also, I rarely do just upper body and lower body workout separately. Most of my workouts are whole body, so that may be a little tricky creating a schedule that splits the body.

      The only thing I am not to do is to over do it. I have been working out for so long I know how to listen to my body and stop if it is painful. I have a lot of tendonitis in my foot and ankle, plus tarsal tunnel, mortons neuroma, a little achilles bursitis and plantar fasciitis. I just gently work around all of the issues. My poor foot is a mess, but all of this occurred on Christmas. I feel I am on the mend I just thought if I could concentrate on more of a floor lower body stretch that would work to loosen up glutes, hamstrings, calves, ankles because I was told I am tight in those areas. The LMT and chiro are not helping me with the stretching issue. I can't do yoga- too much ankle stress. You are the only I trust on line. LOL. I am doing upper body sitting on a chair. All of this drives me crazy as I have always been a go, go, go girl and very strong and active. LOL

      PS: If you don't have a workout , could you help me in the best order to stretch. I am trying to figure out, start with the feet and work up to the butt, or opposite.     Hi Lauren. This was a tough one. I had to switch between a 10lb kettlebell and a 5lb kettlebell. Eventually, my goal is to be able to do the entire workout with just the 10lb kettlebell. Great workout! I appreciate all of the varieties that you offer. Have a great weekend!❤❤

    I am 86 years old. I go to a studio for reformer work Mondays and Fridays. I do yourclasses Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday to keep myself moving in between studio classes. I'm so happy I found you, Lauren. You are magic!!❤

    Great workout. Thank you Lauren. I have always struggled with side lunges, those are hard for me. I hope they get easier. I just wonder, "am I doing it right?" It looks right in the mirror, but it just doesn't feel great. Maybe I just need to gain strength. Any thoughts on side lunges?

      Sound like you just need to gain strength Susan. Side lunges work the gluteus medius (side butt muscle) it's underdeveloped in most people. You can take the movement nice and slow and maybe don't go down as far (keep it more shallow) and make sure you are sending your hips/butt to the back while hinging at your hips. Hope that helps!

    I just turned 65 (2 days ago 🥺) and have hated myself most of my life. I’ve been doing intermediate workouts six times a week for over three years now but while I can keep up, they tend to make me hate myself even more because a lot of it is lunges and planks and just some things that I just can’t or won’t do and watching the instructors make it look so easy makes me feel like a failure. I just discovered your channel yesterday and absolutely love it. It’s something that I cannot only easily follow but that I can go faster and harder with and best of all I don’t hate myself at the end. I don’t really like the “senior“ in the title because I believe that most workouts are good for all ages - you just do what you can, no matter your age. I feel like I’m in my 30s
